The Weather in Mallorca

If you get married here between late May and the end of August the weather will be very hot! I don’t mean, ---- phew what a nice day hot --- but extremely, I can hardly breathe hot, -- indeed so hot that the brides make-up might slide off her face, --- so hot that without regular intake of water it is very difficult to think straight, and guests that have over-imbibed with pre-ceremony drinks could collapse in a heap. The morale to this “tip” is to take on plenty of water and curb your enthusiasm for a “proper” drink until after the wedding itself. On the other hand, always make sure that you have a wet weather alternative at your chosen venue, as even in August we can still very occasionally get short, heavy, squally showers.
