Children at Weddings

A very difficult area. Indeed, many couples have their own children at their weddings and this in itself can be charming and magical for everyone involved. Nevertheless, if you prefer not to have children at either the wedding ceremony or reception, or both, it is your choice.

We have experienced both ends of the spectrum when it comes to children at weddings, ------ however if you do have young children at your wedding it is a good idea to organize babysitters or nannies to take the children off your guests hands even for a few hours. Furthermore, if their will be quite a few children at the wedding consider hiring a children’s entertainer to keep them occupied during dinner for instance. This cost is not generally borne by the happy couple but for the parents of the children in question. Little one’s running around like banshee’s at either the ceremony or at the reception can ruin your special day, --- don’t let it happen, unless of course you are happy about it all. One women’s “little angel” can be the Brides “devil incarnate.” Perhaps, enough said!
