You will need to decide on a list of your priorities for example, time of year, number of guests, ambience (mountains or sea views) and a budget for your wedding. Try to be imaginative..eg don’t always assume that a sea view is essential!.
Yes you can have your wedding at a private villa, however, we would recommend that you consider the need to have room for your ceremony, and your reception and party inside, should the weather be inclement. If you think this will be a cheaper option for you: ...remember that all services have to be transported and delivered especially for you. This can be expensive.
There is a wide range of food on offer, your caterer will discuss options depending on your type and style of wedding, please refer to our section under the heading Caterers. All hotel and restaurant style venues will have their signature style, for example Fish and Chips and BBQ´s don’t work at certain venues, also chefs don´t like to compromise on quality.
You will need to check with the venue or your caterers about this. Usually they will charge you a corkage per bottle for providing your own wine.
You may wish to consider taking out a wedding insurance, there are some comprehensive packages on the internet. You should ask your venue the policy regarding cancellation before you make your booking.
The venue that you book should be able to recommend accommodation nearby, alternatively try the local tourist office in the area. You will be surprised how many hoteliers will help each other in accommodating wedding guests.
This will all depend on the venue that you choose and its policy. It is best to check this with your venue as every venue is different. Very important: some hotels will have a midnight rule, others in the country will have no restrictions at all, check!
This will all depend on the venue that you choose and it´s policy. Mallorca has a ruling that there is to be no music outside after 12 midnight, (only inside) it is best to check with your venue, there are a few venues that are remote and therefore allow you to continue to party outside after midnight as long as the music is controlled.
On our guided tour we will take you to 3 venues of your choice and help you ask the right questions and take the best decision. Read more
